Catholic Relief Services is grateful to the millions of donors whose compassion and generosity makes our work possible. We know that a big part of your decision to contribute to our important work comes from your faith and trust in us. That is why we take seriously our responsibility to be efficient, accountable and transparent in our stewardship. For every dollar CRS spends, 94 cents goes directly to benefit the poor overseas.

As part of our continuing efforts to keep you informed, specific information about CRS finances is now available on our Financial Information Form. As a religious organization, CRS is not required to file a Form 990, the information return that tax-exempt organizations file annually with the Internal Revenue Service. However, in the interest of accountability, we provide our donors with the CRS Financial Information Form, which contains similar information as the Form 990.
